Broady’s maiden ATP World Tour quarterfinals appearance in September 2017 at the St Petersburg Open in Russia. In October 2017, he was runner-up in the ATP Challenger Tour tournament in Las Vegas.

He began working with Dave Sammel as a coach at the University of Bath in 2016.

Seven first-round losses in a row for Broady made him ponder quitting. Because of this separation from his father, who was eighteen at the time, they didn’t talk to each other until 2015, when they were both twenty-eight years old. Mark Hilton took over as his only coach. Broady advanced to the USA F30 semifinals in Florida in November.

Broady made his first Challenger final in November, losing to James Duckworth in the final of the Charlottesville Challenger. Still, his run to the final pushed him into the top 200 for the initial time, with a career-high ranking of 188th in the world.

Broady’s rating improved 271 places from 470th at the start of the year to become the third-ranked British player.

Broady made his Davis Cup debut for the United Kingdom in February. Albert Ramos-Vinolas defeated him in straight sets, dropping the British side to a 0–1 deficit against Spain.

Broady rose to No. 2 in the junior combined world rankings in March 2012 while still a junior.

Britain’s Nicknamed Broady defeated Germany’s Robin Kern in the semifinals of Wimbledon 2011 and followed it up with a win against Australian Jason Kubler that ended 6–4 6–3 in his favor to secure his spot in the final of the boys’ singles division.

While Naomi was only 17, the Lawn Tennis Association cut her financing because of her “unprofessional” social networking posts. Their father Simon removed his son Liam, then 13, from the LTA program, infuriated by the decision.

Simon sold a small red-brick terraced house as a down payment for their coaching and traveling expenses. When the LTA offered to reinstate their sponsorship, Simon rejected it, and they continued their training at the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy on the outskirts of Paris.

While at Mouratoglou in 2012, Broady could not overcome his difficulties, so he sought treatment from the LTA, which resulted in alienation with his father for many years.

In Manchester, Liam resided with his sister, Emma. Broady discontinued his LTA support in November 2015 to mend his relationship with his father, and he currently finances himself by renting his own home in Manchester’s Heatons.

Life Leisure near Broadstone Mill, David Lloyd Fitness, and the Northern Tennis Club were places where Broady took lessons. Broady represented Great Britain in the 2018 Davis Cup clash against Spain. However, she has refused to represent the United Kingdom in the Fed Cup.
