Brittney Shipp is an NBC10 meteorologist who is part of the station’s first storm warning team. Brittney started her career as a morning forecast journalist for KYMA-TV in Yuma, Arizona, before reaching NBC10.

She subsequently moved to Phoenix, Arizona, to work as a night meteorologist and specials reporter for KTVK-3TV. On the other hand, Brittney has served as a forecast anchor for four different national newscasts: NBC’s Early Today, MSNBC’s Morning Joe, First Look, and Way Too Early.

Shipp began her career as a general assignment reporter for UCLA’s television news program. Shipp served as an intern at KTLA during her undergraduate years. She worked as a news assistant for ABC7 Eyewitness News in Los Angeles.

After finishing her education at UCLA and moving to Arizona, Shipp worked for two years at KYMA, an NBC affiliate in Yuma. On weekday mornings, she did unique features and forecasts for the news this morning.

Shipp later moved to Phoenix and worked for 3TV’s Good Morning Arizona for five years. She was a tutor for primary school students as part of the Arizona Science Center’s Junior Forecasters Program.
