At 15, Kozlov made his ATP World Tour debut as a wildcard in Newport. In 2014, he advanced to two junior Grand Slam finals and finished third in the ITF Junior Combined rankings.
Kozlov advanced to two junior grand slam finals in 2014, when Alexander Zverev defeated him at the Australian Open and Noah Rubin at Wimbledon. This achievement propelled him to a career-high position of No. 2 in the junior ranks.
