Lee Na Young Personal Life

Lee Na Young is married to actor Won Bin, who she met on the film’s set. They exchanged wedding vows on May 30, 2015. In addition, the couple has a kid. Their first child, a daughter, was born in December 2015.

They have known each other for a long time because they are both represented by the same talent agency, ‘Eden9′. They had been dating for two years before they decided to tie the knot.

Lee Na Young Professional Career

Having begun her modeling career in a Jambangee Jeans television commercial in 1998, Lee Na-young made her acting debut.

Having previously appeared in minor parts in the 1999 television dramas Did We Love?, KAIST, and Queen, Lee led in the lukewarmly regarded 2001 Hong Kong sci-fi action picture Dream of a Warrior starred Leon Lai.

She also appears in the music video for the song “Catherine’s Wheel” by the British pop band Rialto, released in 2001.

However, with the highly acclaimed television series Ruler of Your World, Lee first gained widespread attention.

Her performance as an indie rock artist who finds herself suddenly falling in love with a terminally sick grifter received critical acclaim, and Lee and her other cast members were lauded for their genuine and nuanced acting.

Later, she reconnected with Ruler of Your World screenwriter In Jung-ok for Ireland, a 2004 drama about a Korean adoptee who travels to her birth country. However, the film’s critical reaction was less than overwhelmingly favorable.

While working as a commercial model, Lee established herself as one of the most highly regarded and highest-paid in the industry, endorsing a wide range of products including cosmetics, electronics, clothing lines, beverages, food, telecommunications, and construction companies.

In Korea, she is widely regarded as having one of the most beautiful and idealized faces.

Lee became the first Korean to feature on the cover of the fashion magazine W Korea, which was published in November 2009.

However, in contrast to her elegant and beautiful public character in commercials, Lee’s image in movies has been the polar opposite. Lee opts to portray uncomfortable and odd women rather than graceful and attractive.

In 2002, she played an introverted character in the cyber romance Who R. U.?, a part that was eerily similar to her portrayal in Ruler of Your World.

After that, Lee starred as a quirky, English-challenged government worker in Kim Sung-comedy SU’s film Please Teach Me English (2003) and as the harmless stalker of a failing baseball player in Jang Jin’s romantic comedy Someone Special (2005).

Lee has also appeared in several short films (2004). She received numerous Best Actress awards for her performance in Someone Special, including one from the renowned Blue Dragon Film Awards

Lee received critical acclaim once more in 2006, this time for her performance as a suicidal rape victim in Maundy Thursday, a film version of Gong Ji-novel young’s Our Happy Time about a rape victim who builds a deep friendship with a death row convict.

After that, she starred as a sleepwalker in Kim Ki-Dream duk’s (2008), in which she came dangerously close to death while filming a scene in which her character attempts to hang herself.

In 2010, Lee starred in the film Lady Daddy, in which she played a trans woman photographer whose life is turned upside down when a little boy claims that she is his biological father arrives unexpectedly.

The actress appeared as a guest star in the television series High Kick Through The Roof to promote the film.

Afterward, Lee made a triumphant comeback to television with the high-profile action-thriller series The Fugitive: Plan B, in which she did all of her action scenes without the use of a stunt double.

Her contract with talent agency KeyEast terminated in 2011 (she had signed with KeyEast in 2006 and with the William Morris Agency in 2009), and she then joined Eden 9 Entertainment, which was formed in 2011.

A few years later, she appeared in Yoo Ha’s suspense thriller Howling, which follows the exploits of a senior detective (Song Kang-ho) who partners up with a female novice (Lee) to investigate an unsolved series of killings that include a strange wolfdog.

In 2013, Lee participated in the two-part Japanese film SPEC: Close, in which he had a supporting character.

In Sad Scene, she played an actress secretly in love with a boom operator; it was one of three short films included in the omnibus Woman, Man, commissioned by W Korea to commemorate the company’s tenth anniversary in 2015.

With the North Korean refugee drama Beautiful Days, Lee made his comeback to the big screen in 2018. The film opened at the 23rd Busan International Film Festival and was directed by Lee.

Lee Jong-suk and Lee Jong-suk feature in the romantic comedy-drama Romance Is a Bonus Book, which premiered in 2019 and marked Lee’s first television appearance in nine years.

In the film, she portrayed the main character, Kang Dan-Yi, a new temporary employee of a book publishing firm.
