Monday night, WWE released an exclusive digital video of the events that occurred following the conclusion of "WWE Raw."
In the footage, Dexter Lumis can be seen carrying The Miz to the backstage area on his shoulders.
The "kidnapping" occurred shortly after The Miz lost a Steel Cage Match against United States Champion Bobby Lashley.
The Miz appeared to have won the U.S. Championship as he climbed to the top of the cage and prepared to flee.
Then, he would be frightened to see Lumis laying on the ground under him!
The diversion gave Lashley sufficient time to spear The Miz for the pinfall win.
Lumis entered the cage after the bout and put The Miz to sleep with an Arm Triangle submission hold as "WWE Raw" went off the air.
Lumis has targeted The Miz for several weeks since his return to WWE television under Triple H's leadership.
However, in subsequent backstage interviews, The Miz has declined to discuss Lumis, stating that he is focused on performing his obligations as a WWE performer.
