Well Hearties, on Christmas night all your When Calls The Heart withdrawals will finally come to an end. This year’s The Christmas Wishing Tree is sure to leave viewers with a few tears in their eyes and a smile on their face.
The movie, which will serve as a Season 5 sneak peek, sees Christmas approaching, and the town of Hope Valley coming together to put up a large Christmas Wishing Tree at the center of town. The town folk are then encouraged to hang their wishes on the tree in hopes that someone else in town will see their wish and go out of their way to grant it. But if a wish is unable to be granted, the legend says that the tree’s Christmas magic will ensure that the wish comes true.
If we know anything about the people of Hope Valley, they are going to work extra hard to make all of those wishes come true, and if we know When Calls the Heart, there’s sure to be a little hope and romance thrown in along the way. To help tide you over while you wait for Christmas night’s big premiere, The TV Junkies are serving up a few hints about what to expect from the special episode.
Abigail and Gowan
Abigail and Gowan’s relationship is definitely one of the most surprising ones that have developed throughout the series. The fact that Abigail has been able to forgive Henry for everything that he has done is really quite impressive. Unfortunately, this week that forgiving nature might just get Abigail into trouble. Can Henry be trusted? Is there more than just friendship between him and Abigail? I think we are going to find out the answers to these questions and so many more this season.
We don’t think it’s much of a spoiler saying that Jack is back. After all, he’s front and center on the movie poster after all. But guys, JACK IS BACK!!! We can’t tell you much about what happens between he and Elizabeth, but we promise you that you will not be disappointed. The heat is long from gone in their relationship and absence has only made their chemistry stronger.
These two are absolute comedy gold. Every scene they are in had us laughing and wanting more. In a bit of a twist, Lee is driving Rosemary crazy this week with his boredom, and Rosemary has finally realized that she can be a little too pushy. You are going to love watching Rosemary try to keep Lee busy while doing everything she can to not get overly involved in the town’s Christmas celebrations.
This week Robert steps into the spotlight again and we even get to meet his family. With Jack and Elizabeth’s help he works hard to make a very special Christmas wish come true, and we think you are going to love watching it all come together.
Can Jesse Be Trusted?
If you’re anything like us then you have always been a little uncertain about Jesse. We like him, we love him and Clara together, but we’ve never quite been able to trust him. This week you are finally going to see Jesse for who he really is. Now we won’t say which way he ends up going, but it has definitely solidified our opinion on him.
