Barbie Ferreira aka Kat Hernandez is leaving Euphoria because of a rumoured disagreement with Sam Levinson.
On Wednesday, Barbie Ferreira revealed her departure from the legendary HBO series Euphoria.
Ferreira rushed to Instagram to share the news with her followers, who were eager to see more of her favourite character Kat Hernandez in the forthcoming third season of the series.
Barbie not only penned a tearful farewell to the role, but she also consoled the fans at the loss of a highly relevant and inspirational persona.
Hunter Schafer, who portrays Jules Vaughn on the show, painted a portrait of Kat in her call girl attire, which Barbie posted to her Instagram account.
Alongside the photo, Barbie wrote, "After four years of getting to embody the most special and enigmatic character Kat, I’m having to say a very teary-eyed goodbye."
The 25-year-old actress said, “I hope many of you could see yourself in her like I did, and that she brought you joy to see her journey into the character she is today."
Barbie also discussed how she poured "care and love" into the role of a plus-size high school student attempting to come to terms with her identity.
