It’s with a heavy heart that I must announce that The TV Junkies will shut off the lights and soon go permanently dark. As a team over the last 8.5 years, we’ve had so much fun covering all the shows, especially the Canadian ones, that make us absolutely love watching TV. Unfortunately, the time has come to move on to new chapters and close the book here.
It’s been such an honor and privilege to speak with so many talented performers, writers, directors, and crew over the years to learn more about their craft and work. We appreciate the time they’ve taken out of their busy schedules and lives to give us their insight and share their thoughts. Our goal has always been to shout about the TV that we love and highlight those making it. We are grateful to have worked with so many wonderful network reps and publicists over the years that have facilitated our coverage and granted us access.
We also would be nowhere without our readers and have loved interacting with so many of them through social media. The feedback you’ve given us has been so lovely and appreciated. The support shown to The TV Junkies over the years has meant so much and I am forever grateful for it.
Personally, I know I’m not permanently going away. I’ll still be online shouting about my love for TV, especially Canadian TV, and hopefully writing again somewhere soon in the near future. In the meantime, we would suggest to our readers to go and follow our friends over at The Televixen and TV, eh?. They both wholeheartedly share our enthusiasm and passion for covering Canadian TV.
Thanks again for all the support over the years. It’s been quite a ride!
